J. M. Tull was an Atlanta businessman in the first half of the 20th century who created the J.M. Tull Foundation in 1952.
His successor as CEO of Tull Metal and Supply Company, J. Pollard Turman (1934C 1935L), served as an Emory trustee and helped to establish a relationship between the foundation and Emory; Turman Hall honors his dedication to the university.
